My name is Jessica, and I am from Haiti. It is the first thing I say when I introduce myself. Being born and raised there shaped how I see beauty, how I understand pride, and why I started this brand.

But Identity Boutik was never meant to belong to one island.

The Caribbean is not a single story. It is Haiti and Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Guadeloupe, Martinique — each with its own language, its own rhythm, its own way of wearing gold. What we share is the instinct to carry where we come from on our bodies. A coin at the throat. A charm that means something. Jewelry as a way of saying: this is who I am, and I am not quiet about it.

That is the brand: a Caribbean jewelry and accessories label, Haitian-owned and woman-owned, designed in Miami and made for salt water and everyday wear. Built for anyone whose identity is worth wearing.

The symbol

Our logo was designed by a Haitian graphic design studio. It is a mix of vèvè symbols arranged to form a face — and that face is meant to be your reflection. We want it to wake up pride in whatever makes you, you.

The craft

I have spent years in the jewelry industry, working with manufacturers in Miami and around the world. Our everyday pieces are waterproof, hypoallergenic and built to be lived in — worn in the ocean, in the shower, on the days you do not take them off. Our fine jewelry is 14k and 18k gold, set with diamonds and precious stones. Both are held to the same standard: if it is not good enough to wear for years, we do not sell it.

Giving back

We donate 5% of profits to education in Haiti — to École Mixte Petit Cœur de Jesus in Cité Soleil, where more than 600 children are taught by a man who grew up in that same neighborhood. Read more about our philanthropy.
